Description
This shows a round nest of 5 Nantucket Lightship baskets made with sturdy oak construction and small graduated weave by Michael Kane. The smallest one is a 3″ and it goes in 2″ increments up to 11″. This nest was done with cherry handles instead of oak to give it that rich color. The client also chose to do different carved shells on each basket handle. Conch on the largest, scallop, starfish, quahog and sand dollar.
